Hey Sonar community! Here's a rapid rundown of what's new and noteworthy with SonarQube:

🚀 SonarQube Community Build 26.4.0.121862: The April release brings new rules for Java 25, support for multi‑document Helm charts and new monitoring metrics for ElasticSearch along with many other enhancements.

⏰ SonarScanner for Maven sonar:sonar shorthand will be retired on May 1, 2026; explicitly defining the scanner version in your pom.xml is now required.

SonarQube Community Build 26.4.0.121862 released

Sonar is excited to announce the availability of the SonarQube Community Build 26.4.0.121862, our April release.

This version brings new rules for Java 25, support for multi‑document Helm charts and new monitoring metrics for ElasticSearch along with many other enhancements.
