Security

Wiz integration

Scalr now integrates with Wiz to scan Terraform and OpenTofu configurations after plan and before apply. Teams can enforce security requirements through Wiz policy results or combine them with Scalr OPA policies for layered governance. Configure the integration under Account Settings → Integrations. Learn more

Slack

Request apply approval through Slack

Approval requests now send a direct Slack message in addition to the existing email notification, so approvers can respond faster without relying solely on email. Learn more

Drift detection

Select a time window for drift runs

Drift detection schedules now support a configurable time window, letting teams restrict when drift runs execute. Useful for avoiding drift scans during busy deploy windows or off-hours freezes. Configure under workspace drift settings. Learn more

Drift reports available to the MCP server

The Scalr MCP server can now surface drift report data. Ask your AI assistant which environments have drifted, which workspaces last detected drift, and what the current drift status is across your account. Learn more

Workspace drift detected filter

The workspace list now includes a Drift Detected filter, making it easy to surface only workspaces where drift has been found. No more scrolling through the full list to identify what needs attention. Learn more

Observability

Datadog and EventBridge events now include VCS commit hash

Run events sent to Datadog and AWS EventBridge now include the VCS commit hash. Teams can correlate infrastructure run events directly to the exact commit that triggered them, making incident investigation and audit trails significantly easier. Datadog docs · EventBridge docs
