Hey John,

Our second update of 2026, Edinburgh, is out now. Open Sketch to update, or download the latest version. It may be a smaller release, but it packs in plenty of things you've been asking for!

Multi-paste and more predictable paste behavior

Paste, Paste Over, and Paste and Replace across multiple selected frames, groups, or layers in a single action. Content now centers automatically when you paste into a group, and appears closer to where you’re working when you paste on the Canvas.

Perceptual and Vibrant gradients

Gradients just got better. Perceptual and Vibrant interpolation options give you smoother, more natural transitions or punchier, more saturated colors than classic RGB gradients. Sketch remembers your preference and uses the correct color-space syntax when you copy gradients as CSS.

Copy almost any property

Copy Properties now goes beyond styles, letting you copy fills, borders, shadows, effects, size, position, and prototyping interactions in a single action. It takes the place of Copy Style, using the same ⌥⌘C shortcut while preserving existing behavior.

A better prototype player

The prototype preview is easier to work with, too. Pin it to a specific frame with the new Follow Selection toggle, keep it above other apps with Float on Top, and copy a shareable prototype link in a single click.

Performance improvements and more

There’s plenty more in Edinburgh, too — including faster performance when working with Symbols, replacing Libraries is up to 15x faster, and over 60 smaller improvements and fixes.
