Approov lets you integrate with Apple’s AppAttest or Google’s Play Integrity API features for checking App Integrity, which has been available from iOS 14. Simply follow the AppAttest integration or Play Integrity integration guide and the checks will be automatically added along with the usual Approov checks. There is no complicated backend integration as this is done for you by Approov as it performs the interactions with Apple or Google servers on your behalf. Passing AppAttest/Play Integrity simply becomes an additional criteria to obtain a valid Approov token or runtime secret. Moreover, Approov ensures that time consuming AppAttest/Play Integrity checks need only be done infrequently to minimize latency in your app.
