Checkout instructions are a must-have to let guests know exactly what you expect before they leave. Adding them to your listing(s) is easy, and more than 290K Hosts have already done so. Just choose from a list of common departure requests, customize the details, and voilà—no last-minute surprises.

Pro Tip: Most Hosts keep it simple by adding up to three items to their checkout lists, such as: turn off lights, close windows, and return keys. If you have no instructions, make sure to note that under Additional Requests so your guests aren’t left wondering.
