The Approov custom JWT facility allows your app to create signed JWTs with arbitrary payloads, for use cases where you may need these to authenticate your app to other services. Although the payload can be constructed in the app, the signing process is fully delegated to the Approov cloud and it will only complete the signing process if the calling app has passed the attestation process. This means your signing keys remain securely in the cloud, and you can be sure the custom JWT is emanating from a valid app.
