Here's everything we shipped. Knock agent March 26, 2026 Knock agent The Knock agent unlocks a new way to build, edit, and ship messaging with AI, built directly into the dashboard. You can prompt the agent to: Create and manage resources. Prompt changes to workflows, broadcasts, guides, audiences, and more. Generate emails. Describe what you want, upload a screenshot, or send a URL, and the agent builds a client-safe email using your layout and branding. Build audience segments. Describe the users you want to target and the agent build a dynamic audience with the right conditions. Agent use is included on all Knock plans at no additional cost during the beta period. Read the docs Read the full changelog Data sources April 9, 2026 Data sources in Knock Data sources let you connect events from any tool to your messaging infrastructure in a few clicks, no code required. When product events occur (such as a user signup in Clerk or a completed payment in Stripe), you can send that event data to Knock to create users, trigger workflows, and update audiences. Knock ingests, verifies, and transforms the event data for you. Pre-built sources. Connect 6 pre-configured integrations including Clerk, Stripe, Shopify, Supabase, PostHog, and WorkOS. Custom sources. You can map events from any other provider using a flexible JavaScript scripting framework to process, validate, and transform events. Query user properties to build segments that update in real time—and manage them with the same version control you use for other Knock resources. You can also describe the audience you want in plain language and let the agent generate the conditions for you—from the dashboard, the Knock agent, or your favorite AI editor. Dynamic audiences work with workflows (as triggers and conditions), broadcasts, and guides. Read the docs Read the full changelog Guides toolbar April 14, 2026 Guides toolbar in Knock Building in-app messages shouldn't require guessing why they do or don't appear for a given user. The guides toolbar is a floating debug panel you can open in your application to gain real-time visibility into your guides. See what your users see. Toggle between all guides, active guides, and eligible guides to understand how your targeting rules play out in context. Test in your real product environment. Force any guide to display on the current page to preview it exactly as your users will experience it. Inspect targeting in real time. View the parameters being evaluated for the current user and page to diagnose issues and fine-tune audience rules. Read the docs Read the full changelog Layouts 2.0 April 21, 2026 Layouts 2.0 in Knock We rebuilt the email layouts experience for greater consistency and control. "Used in" tab. See which workflows and broadcasts are using a layout before making changes—especially useful for layouts shared across many templates. More layout control. It's now easier to change layouts in the template editor, and override branding at the layout level, for teams with multiple brands or tenants. Dark mode support. Upload dark mode assets and branding variables to render for email clients in dark mode. Read the docs Read the full changelog MJML support March 19, 2026 MJML support in Knock Knock now supports MJML, a responsive email framework that compiles to HTML optimized for email clients. MJML helps users build component-based emails that look great across devices with less code. Layouts. Work much like HTML layouts: they must include a root tag, inserts the template body, and inserts footer links when configured. Templates. Can be written fully in MJML or built in the visual editor, where blocks render as MJML components when the template or layout uses MJML.
