"I want to see timestamps in my local timezone" has been one of the most upvoted requests on our GitHub, and this week we closed it. ๐ŸŒ Your charts now show the right time, for everyone You can now set a project timezone once and it applies everywhere: filters, date grouping, and every displayed timestamp. There's flexibility on top of that as well. Viewers can set their own timezone in their profile and see charts in local time. And when everyone needs to see identical numbers (say, a finance close), you can pin a chart to a fixed zone that overrides everything else. This feature is live for all Cloud organizations. Haven't set a project timezone? Everything stays in UTC and nothing changes for you. Self-hosting? It's in v0.3326.0+ via environment variables. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Learn how to set it up โ†’ ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ Click any data point in your app, see the query behind it Turn on Inspect Data Mode in Network tools, then click any data point in a data app to open and highlight the exact query powering that chart. It works in reverse too: hover over a query and the matching chart lights up in the app. Handy when you're reviewing an app you (or an agent) built and want to check that the numbers are coming from where you think they are. ๐Ÿ“– Read the docs โ†’ ๐Ÿ”Œ Data apps can now talk to APIs With Data App Connections, your apps can call third-party HTTP APIs: your product API, a payment provider, Google services. Lightdash proxies every request and injects credentials server-side, so nothing reaches the browser or the app code. Secrets stay encrypted at rest and are only decrypted for the request itself.
