TabaPay Plans New Acquisition

We wanted to share an exciting update from the TabaPay team — an update that won’t change your day-to-day with TabaPay, but will bring new products and functionality soon.

We’ve announced our intent to acquire a bank!

Pending regulatory approval, Denver’s Transact Bank, N.A., will become TabaBank, N.A. The deal should close towards the end of 2026. TabaBank will become part of our partner bank network, and when fully established, will support all major payment rails — including RTP and FedNow; card sponsorship across Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and regional networks; plus ACH and wire transfers.

Alongside the bank acquisition, we've completed a $155 million fundraise. The fundraise will provide TabaPay with enough liquid assets to qualify as a full-service acquirer for our card network partners. This means TabaBank can support more use cases and provide additional opportunities for our clients.

We want to re-iterate that nothing about your engagement, partnership and integration with TabaPay is changing.
