01 Install the editor

Download for macOS, Windows, or Linux. Import your

VS Code settings and extensions in a single click

— nothing to reconfigure.

02 Open a project

Point Cursor at any folder. It indexes your

codebase locally so suggestions, chat, and agents

know the shape of what you're building.

03 Ask for something

Press ⌘K to

edit in place, or

⌘L to open

chat. Describe what you want — a refactor, a new

component, a bug fix — and review the diff.
