Hi everyone,

Over the last few years we've helped Terraform users shift FinOps left, preventing $millions in cloud waste from ever reaching production. A few months ago we added CloudFormation and CDK - and today we're excited to announce support for Kubernetes/Helm charts and Azure ARM templates!

But prevention only goes so far. Hundreds of enterprises told us they still had millions going to waste on resources already running, or on usage-based services like S3; neither of which you can catch by scanning infra-as-code. So we built Infracost Fix. We dogfooded it first, cut our own bill by 35%, and after three months in private beta with enterprise customers, it's ready 🚀

What’s cool about Infracost Fix is it’s not a reporting tool, it’s an action tool. It finds waste, investigates it to rule out false positives, maps the live resource back to it’s code declaration, and let’s you fix it in 1-click OR (our favourite) fix it collaboratively with your choice of coding agent like Claude or Copilot. It works with non-IaC resources as well, which is a first for us.

Kubernetes cost estimates and label policies in pull requests

Infracost now prices Kubernetes workloads straight from the repo — manifests, Helm charts and Kustomize overlays — with no cluster credentials and nothing for your security team to sign off on. Going from 2 to 6 replicas with memory 4→16Gi and storage 100→500Gi shows up as roughly $1,110/month right in the PR comment. Your cloud tagging policies now apply to Kubernetes labels too.

Estimate ARM template costs before you deploy

Infracost now reads ARM templates natively; no CI/CD changes or Azure credentials are required. It evaluates expressions, copy loops, conditionals and parameter files locally, pricing each environment separately. Azure teams now get the same FinOps policies as everyone on Terraform, CloudFormation and CDK.
