## Before Brew

LiveFlow sells financial reporting software to accountants and finance teams out of New York, and for a long time its email was split across two tools: Loops for marketing and lifecycle, and Customer.io for transactional sends. Every marketing email started in Figma, with templates the design team had built, then moved to ChatGPT for the copy, and finally into Loops to be assembled. **Putting one sequence together took Josh around three hours, before anyone had approved it.**

Approval was its own problem. An email went into Slack for review, came back with edits, got changed in Loops, and went round again. **It was normal for a single email to take two or three days to get signed off,** and with five to ten people making emails, the copy and branding drifted from send to send.

## What changed

LiveFlow was Brew’s first customer, and in the summer of 2026 the team moved sending over completely. **The Loops contacts came across as a CSV, and new signups now flow in through the Segment pipeline LiveFlow already had,** with Retool topping up around twenty attributes on a schedule. Loops kept the authentication emails. Everything a customer reads now goes out from Brew.

The brand lives in Brew once, so the design step is gone. **Josh describes the email and gets a finished, on-brand draft back,** then edits it in the canvas when he wants to change something by hand. The first big send on the new setup was the Ramp integration launch to about 1,800 contacts, sent with Intelligent Send so each person got it at the hour they tend to read.

Lifecycle work moved onto the Brew canvas as well. **An eight-email sequence for construction leads who had requested a demo, segmented from a fresh import,** and the onboarding and win-back emails for existing customers, which the team plans to split by billing frequency so each message fits the plan a customer is on.

## The results

**The three hours of Figma, ChatGPT and Loops are gone.** Josh describes what he wants, Brew returns the email, and the design is already right, so the Slack review is about the message rather than the layout. In his words, emails that used to take hours are done in minutes.

That is what unlocked the rest. **With an email taking minutes instead of hours, LiveFlow can send to segments it never had the time to write for,** like the construction leads and the integration launch, instead of one generic email to everyone.
