## Email content

We reduced the cost of AI Chat in Activepieces by 82%. 🚀

Over the past few weeks, we've been working on making Chat more efficient while keeping it reliable for users.

What changed?

We made two major improvements:

Switched to a default AI model that costs significantly less per token.

Instead of sending all 68 tools to the AI with every request, Chat now loads additional tools only when needed.

The results:

82% lower cost per conversation: From $1.03 to $0.18.

Lower operating costs: Weekly AI spending dropped even as chat usage increased.

These changes make Chat significantly more cost-efficient, and we're continuing to optimize it.

Try Chat in Activepieces and tell us how it's working for you. 🚀

Happy automating 💜
