We are excited to announce that

Confidential Computing is now available in Model Vault, and that we are opening early access to a limited group of beta customers.

Your data is already encrypted at rest and in transit. Confidential Computing goes one step further: your data stays encrypted in memory and hardware-isolated while in use. Most importantly, you do not have to take our word for it. You can request hardware-signed proof at any time and verify it yourself, which turns confidentiality from a contractual commitment into a technical control you can show to the auditors.

Key highlights of the offering include:

End-to-end encrypted inference: Requests, responses, and model memory stay encrypted throughout, in a dedicated deployment inside your own Model Vault

Hardware-enforced isolation: Models run in an Intel or AMD confidential VM with a dedicated NVIDIA confidential GPU, so the host operating system, the hypervisor, cluster administrators, and Cohere's own operators cannot read protected memory

Attestation you can verify yourself: Request a signed attestation token on demand and verify it independently against the hardware vendor's public keys, as evidence of exactly which platform and which code are running

No change to how you build: Encrypted vaults use the same Model Vault API and hostname, so your existing applications keep working as they do today
