Hi there,

Today we announced more in one day than we ever have: Daily, the team behind Pipecat, joining Deepgram, two LLMs built for voice, an open standard for context, and 41 languages for Flux STT multlingual with 10 GA and 31 more in early access. All of it exists because voice agents still fail at the one thing people expect from them, keeping up with a conversation. They talk over people, go quiet while they look something up, and miss the correction made halfway through. This morning at Speak I showed what we are doing about it.

The Think-Live LLM runs the conversation. It decides when to listen, wait, and respond, so the agent stops talking over people and stops leaving dead air. Generally available today in the Voice Agent API.

The Think-Fast LLM does the work. It follows your rules, calls tools mid-call, and writes replies built to be spoken.

The Real-Time Context Standard, developed with the Pipecat team, carries how the person sounded, and how the reply should be spoken, between every model in your agent. Try it in Pipecat today and help shape the spec here.

And there’s more: the Deepgram Voice Agent Platform, built on Pipecat, is coming. Flux STT Multilingual now understands 41 languages with 10 in GA and more than 31 in early access, and Flux TTS speaks 9 more. And we’re building it in the open, with the Pipecat community.
