Hi there,

Fresh off ObservabilityCON 2026, we're highlighting the latest Grafana Cloud updates to help you automate more with AI, optimize costs, and gain deeper visibility across your stack, from the underlying infrastructure to the end-user experience.

Want the full rundown? Read our ObservabilityCON announcements blog or watch the opening keynote on demand for a closer look at everything we unveiled this week.

Automate more of your operations with AI

Automate more of your operations with AI

New AI capabilities in Grafana Cloud help you automate routine tasks, investigate issues, and take action faster, all while keeping you in control. Here's what's new:

Grafana Pages (public preview): Create custom, app-like visualizations by describing what you need, no code required.

Assistant Watchers (generally available): Detect changes in telemetry patterns that traditional alert rules might miss, using always-on AI agents configured in plain language.

Grafana Managed Sandboxes (public preview): Explore source code, propose fixes, and prepare pull requests in a controlled environment, with human review and approval.

Cut costs, keep the value: what's new in Adaptive Telemetry

New updates across Grafana Cloud's Adaptive Telemetry suite help you reduce costs while keeping the data you need for troubleshooting and investigations. Highlights include:

Adaptive Metrics: Automatically apply optimization recommendations with auto-apply (generally available), and use the new cost-first mode to only apply recommendations that won't increase your total active series.

Adaptive Logs: Store potentially unnecessary logs in lower-cost object storage with Archive (public preview), and bring them back when needed with Replay (sign up for private preview).

Adaptive Traces: Optimize sampling with volumetric and diversity sampling (generally available), and query dropped traces (also generally available) by ID for up to 24 hours.

More connections, richer context for full-stack observability

More connections, richer context for full-stack observability

The latest updates to Grafana Cloud’s Knowledge Graph give people and AI agents a more connected view of how systems fit together, so they can investigate issues and find root causes faster.

New capabilities include:

More of your stack, connected: Get a more complete view of your environment with expanded Knowledge Graph coverage for frontend apps, synthetic checks, AI agents, and more.

Richer operational context: Connect service ownership, on-call schedules, runbooks, and learnings from past incidents to the systems they relate to.

More flexibility to map your environment: Define custom entities and relationships that reflect your organization's unique products and business processes.

The 5th annual Observability Survey is here!

Please take a few minutes to complete the 5th annual Observability Survey, the largest community-driven survey on the state of observability. It tracks year-over-year trends around AI, cost, open source, and more.

All published results will be anonymized (and, of course, you’ll have a chance to win some swag).
