Your breast health belongs in the convo

Whether you’re a breast cancer survivor, considered high-risk, or simply staying on top of your health, Midi clinicians can help you find relief from perimenopause and menopause symptoms while keeping your breast health in focus.

Here’s what that looks like:

Your history guides your care. Tell your clinician about any breast cancer treatment, family history, genetic risk, or high-risk biopsy result. Midi provides personalized treatment to all women — including cancer survivors and those at risk.

We follow the science. Research on HRT and breast cancer has evolved, prompting the FDA to update “black box” warnings to better reflect benefits and risks. Led by breast cancer survivorship expert Dr. Mindy Goldman, our team helps you understand your options based on the latest evidence.

We keep you on track. If you’re overdue for a mammogram or other screening, we’ll refer you to a local imaging center. Check with your insurance plan to confirm coverage.

You have options for relief. Together, we can explore non-hormonal prescriptions, lifestyle changes, and HRT when appropriate for your individual risk and health history.

Bring your symptoms, questions, and concerns to your first Midi visit and we’ll build a Care Plan you feel confident about.

Dr. Mindy Goldman

Q: “Can I take HRT if I have a family history of breast cancer?”

A: In most cases, yes. Women with a family history of breast cancer — even those with a hereditary gene mutation that increases risk — can often use hormone replacement therapy safely. Current evidence shows that HRT does not further increase breast cancer risk for these women.

That said, it’s important to stay proactive about breast health. Regular exams and imaging are key to ongoing monitoring. If cancer is detected, your Midi clinician will consult your oncologist about the right path forward for your menopause care.

HRT can be a safe and effective way to ease menopause symptoms, but it’s not right for everyone. Your Midi clinician will help you decide what’s best for you and discuss other options if needed.
