Linear's MCP server gives any compatible AI tool secure access to your Linear data, so you can work with your issues, projects, and comments without leaving the tool you're already in. It connects to Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, Notion, Figma, and more.

A couple of things you can do once it's connected:

Create and update issues from your editor or chat. Capture a bug or file a task in plain language while you're in the flow, no context switching back to Linear.

Ask questions about your workspace. Pull up what's assigned to you, what's in a project, or what's left in the cycle, in natural language.

Setup takes a couple of minutes and there's a guide for each client.
