Pinecone Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) is now generally available on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, so you can run Pinecone inside your own cloud account and region.

AI agents are most useful with your proprietary knowledge, which is also the data you don't want leaving your security boundary. Making it available to those agents has meant running your own retrieval infrastructure in your VPC and keeping accuracy and latency steady across every workload.

BYOC takes that work off your plate. Pinecone operates the database for you, inside your account. Every vector and request stays in your environment. Our team handles upgrades, scaling, maintenance, and monitoring with no inbound access to your account.

Toyota Motor North America was one of BYOC's first customers. Its AI apps draw on decades of engineering expertise and R&D knowledge that lives in their documentation, which stays inside Toyota's environment and only reaches models the company has vetted. BYOC keeps up with the scale of Toyota's operations and meets its security and governance requirements.
