Ramp tracks over $100 billion in annual spend across 50,000 businesses. Here's what stood out in the Spring 2026 Business Spending Report:

Paid AI adoption hit a record 50.4% in March

Anthropic’s adoption jumped from 16.7% to 30.6% since our last report, while OpenAI’s slipped from 36.8% to 35.2%

The companies investing most in AI have doubled their revenue since ChatGPT launched, while those with no AI spend grew 15%

AI-native vendors averaged 5+ percentage points of YoY adoption growth in sales execution and product analytics as incumbents lost ground

The report also covers the collapse in freelance spend, travel policy benchmarks by industry, and the software categories most at risk from AI-native competition.
