Mounted Google Drive loads files slowly, even from VFS cache

wlabarron

wlabarron

Files read from a mounted Google Drive shared drive are occasionally loaded slowly (more than 30 seconds to open). There seems to be no sensible pattern as to which files are slow to load. I have had this issue before and I still have the fixes from that attempt in action. I'm not sure what has changed to reintroduce the problem, other than perhaps a much larger number of files in the mount.

Can't retrieve token from new Dropbox remote setup

bgollands

bgollands

When trying to set up a new remote at Dropbox (with blank client ID and secret and no advanced config), I get the following. I was able to create a remote with no problem a month or so ago, but then it stopped working. All attempts since to create a new one have had this same problem. The browser opens and shows Success!, but on returning to terminal, I see the following. Note that (additionally) I'm confused by what is meant by setting the Redirect URL in my custom config. Where would I see that?

Rclone doubling 0x201B in S3/Swift (at least) URLs

rclone fails to handle any objects (at least via S3 or swift) with 0x201B / SINGLE HIGH-REVERSED-9 QUOTATION MARK / ‛ in their name. It doubles that particular character (a mis-firing attempt at quoting/escaping?) resulting in 404s.
