Summer at Smarter Savings Association: July 2026

Summer has a way of slowing things down. The school routines pause, the pace shifts, and there's a little more room to breathe, which makes it the perfect time to take a look at your finances too. Whether that means making time to open the budget spreadsheet or just taking stock of where things stand.

It's also a season packed with real-life money lessons for kids (including my own!) Lemonade stands, summer job earnings, saving up for that trip or gadget, or deciding how to spend allowance. This month, we're digging into both: practical ways to review your own financial habits, and simple ways to turn summer fun into lessons for the next generation.
