READ IN APP

I wish I had an app for that.

Maybe yours would keep your recipes together. Maybe it would organise your study links or collect the articles you keep meaning to read.

Then comes the thought that stops it: I don’t know how to build it.

I went looking for free AI coding tools because I wanted a clear way through that gap. The recommendations were everywhere. The useful steps were harder to find.

What should you open? What should you type? How do you tell whether the app works? And will you still be able to use it once the impressive preview is over?

Those are the questions this guide walks you through.

I’ve included the prompts to copy, the clicks to follow, a companion example and checks with results you can compare against your own screen. When something goes wrong, you’ll have a way to work out what happened.

You don’t need to understand every line of code to begin.

You need a first step you can follow, and a way to know when it’s working.

Let’s give that app idea somewhere to go...
