By Bari Weiss

Hi Free Presser,

Bari here.

The Free Press doesn’t exist without Free Pressers. We don’t rely on ads or fancy campaigns to spread the word. We rely on you.

You’ve forwarded articles to friends who didn’t know we existed. You’ve sent pieces to family members who only ever got one side of a story. You posted and shared our work on social media. You brought them in, and you built this place alongside us.

Today, we’re making that easier.

Starting now, paid subscribers can send gift articles—giving anyone free, full access to a story, no subscription required. Free Press subscribers in our app will have even more gift articles to share every month.

If you’re not a paid subscriber yet, upgrade today to unlock gift articles and everything else The Free Press has to offer.

The more you share, the more we grow.

You proved that honest journalism still has an audience. Now let’s make it bigger.

With gratitude,

Bari
