Whats new with TabaPay

At TabaPay, we’re continuously building new capabilities to help clients move money with less friction and more control. This quarter, we launched three updates designed to protect your payments, make TabaPay easier to explore, and give your team more control in the Portal.

1. Network Tokens

Replace stored card numbers with secure, network issued credentials that update automatically when a card expires or is reissued, so recurring payments keep running. Network Tokens are separate from your TabaPay Account ID, which isn’t changing.

2. User Roles

Assign Admin, Manager, or User access in the Portal so each person’s access matches their responsibilities. Every organization needs an active Admin, so if you haven’t set one up yet, reach out to help@tabapay.com.

3. The new TabaPay.com

Explore dedicated pages for 13 industries, plus our bank partners, payment rails, and a direct path to our developer docs.

Payments Fun Fact

How partial authorization helps recover low-balance card transactions

What happens when a customer’s card balance falls just short of the payment amount? Instead of declining the full request, partial authorization lets the issuer approve the available balance. In a new analysis of TabaPay transactions from January 2025 through June 2026, partial authorization made $55.1 million available for collection, increased collected funds by 3% to 16% on partially approved transactions, and reduced insufficient funds declines by about 8 percentage points.
