Hey there,

Today we’re introducing Screen Effects! This is a new set of creative tools and features that make your videos look and feel incredible.

Animated cursors

Increase your cursor’s size, smooth its movement, add click effects and more. Choose between cursor packs for macOS Golden Gate, Tahoe and Sequoia. We also have native Windows cursors and touch cursors.

Animated cursor settings on Tella for Mac

Animated cursors are available for recordings made with Tella for Mac and Tella for Windows.

You can toggle between an animated cursor and the default system cursor in your Mac or Windows app's settings.

Update to the latest versions to start using this feature.

Animated cursors and motion blur

Motion blur

Motion blur makes a video feel alive. Cursor movement will feel more natural, and zooms and layout changes more “real”.

Zoom effects

We’ve added the option to shrink your camera during a zoom, which creates a really nice effect. We’ve also introduced a new Auto Zoom setting which is more responsive to your cursor movement. And now you can apply Auto Zoom automatically for every new video - switch this on in your recording preferences.

Blur, highlight and multi-track editing

Blur, highlight & multi-track editing

Blurs and highlights have a new home alongside your zoom and cursor settings in the Screen Effects tool. We’ve also added multi-track editing support for all Screen Effects, which makes it easier to add and edit effects that overlap with each other.

More detail in our Help Docs and our website.

Let me know what you think!
