Hi John,

The Frontend Nation 2026 schedule is live, and we’re 1 week away (June 3–4). It’s FREE, online, and this year is very kind to Vue devs who want to level up with AI.

Three things to know before you plan your watch list:

1. Opening keynote (don’t miss)

Alex Kyriakidis, Founder & CEO at BitterBrains and the creator of Vue School, is opening Frontend Nation with the event keynote.

2. Vue spotlight (we’re proud of this one)

Nico Devs, Vue Vapor: Goodbye Virtual DOM. Nico is a former lead developer at Vue School, and we’re genuinely proud to have him on stage this year. He’ll be unpacking Vue Vapor Mode, a new compilation strategy that ditches the Virtual DOM and generates direct DOM operations instead.

3. Vite tooling spotlight

Alex Lichter, (When) Do We Finally Have a Unified Toolchain? Alex is a long-time Vue community builder (and Nuxt ambassador), and this talk is all about Vite’s push toward a more unified tooling future. He’ll walk through the newly released Vite+ Alpha and test whether this new open-source CLI can actually reduce plumbing work and choice fatigue so teams can spend less time configuring and more time shipping (especially in an agentic age).

What’s more? AI talks worth bookmarking

Debbie O’Brien, How I Used AI to Fix Our E2E Test Architecture (real suite, real fixes, real benchmarks)

Kent C. Dodds, How I Build Web Applications in 2026 (modern workflows + AI in practice)

Rijk van Zanten, AI UX is just CMS design all over again (patterns for reliable AI-driven interfaces)

Ashwin Hariharan, Context is Everything: Adaptive UI Patterns for AI Applications (context-aware UI that reduces cognitive load)

Alex Garrett-Smith, Move Fast and Don’t Break Things (shipping faster with AI + guardrails)

The schedule is out, so you can plan your watch list fast.
