So, other than origami, there’s only one thing you can do with money: Spend it. But there are a million ways to worry about money.

What might surprise you is that the worry doesn’t come from not having enough money. The worry happens because you don’t know what your money is for.

You look at your bank balance and it seems like enough. But your insurance premium is due soon. Also, your check engine light just came on—can that wait? And you promised you’d buy annual passes to the waterpark. How much was the grocery bill last week?

You know how much you have, but you still don’t know enough to spend it with confidence.
