Start a complete app on your machine with lightdash apps create, open it in your usual IDE, and iterate with whichever coding agent you use. You can preview it locally against your live data as you build, so you’re not designing blind or swapping between tools every 30 seconds.

When it’s ready, upload the source to Lightdash. We build it securely on your instance and publish it on the governed metrics and permissions your team already trusts.

You can now download and upload:

Project content: charts, dashboards, spaces and permissions, virtual views, AI agents, and Data Apps.

Automations: scheduled deliveries, alerts, and Google Sheets syncs.

Organization setup: users, groups, and custom roles.

That means you can keep a real backup of everything in GitHub, review analytics changes in pull requests, move content between projects or instances, and let an agent refactor the repetitive bits.

🎮 We also built our homepage onto a Game Boy

Apparently, our analytics isn’t the only thing we’re building as code. We built our new homepage as a single 6,112-line three.js file, despite never having built or animated a 3D asset before.
