Thank you for joining our mailing list at Nova
Credit. We're glad you're here. In the
weeks ahead, we'll share what we've
learned about the quieter, more practical side of
moving to the United States — the paperwork, the
phone plans, the first credit card — so the ground
beneath you feels a little steadier.

II. A beginning
My name is Misha, and when my
family first arrived in the United
States from abroad, we found the
financial system quietly
impenetrable.
The credit we had built elsewhere,
over years, seemed to evaporate at
the border.

III. What we do
I started Nova Credit to make it easier for
millions of newcomers to reach the essentials — a
credit card, a phone plan, a first loan — without
beginning from zero.
Today, we work with companies like
American Express and Verizon to
help U.S. newcomers apply for credit cards, loans,
and phone plans using the credit history they
built in select countries abroad.
We've also spent years writing — carefully,
and without jargon — about the immigration process
and the American financial system, in hopes of
making the move feel less like a test and more
like a doorway.
