Welcome to Curaytor's Agent Hour. Every week: something from us, a cool Instagram post worth stealing from, and the social media updates that actually matter for your business.
■ FROM US THIS WEEK
NEW ON THE BLOG
Google isn’t the only way clients find you anymore.
ChatGPT. Gemini. Perplexity. Buyers and sellers are asking AI tools “who’s the best agent in [city]” every single day, and those answers pull from content, not search rankings. Our latest blog covers five things you can do right now to make sure AI is finding and recommending you, not the agent down the street.

■ COOL IG WE SAW
sellingsocial.co Instagram Stories post
@sellingsocial.co on Instagram
Your Stories have one job. This carousel gets it.
sellingsocial.co laid it out simply: Stories aren’t for showing listings. They’re for building the kind of familiarity that turns a follower into a future client. Every story should do one of three things: give value, start a conversation, or let people feel like they know you. The examples in this carousel are all steal-worthy, especially the “help settle the debate” poll format. Save this one.

■ WHAT’S NEW IN SOCIAL
01
META ADS
Meta made server-side ad tracking a one-click setup
Meta overhauled its Pixel and Conversions API on April 15. The new one-click setup removes the developer work that used to block most small advertisers from server-side tracking. Agents running lead ads or listing retargeting campaigns can now set it up themselves through Events Manager. Meta says advertisers using CAPI average 17.8% lower cost per lead. Open Events Manager this week.

You can now chain your Reels together into a series
Instagram’s Linked Reels feature lets you attach one Reel to the next so viewers watch them in sequence. You can label each link and build multi-part content from new or existing Reels. Split a property walkthrough across two or three parts, run a neighborhood breakdown series, or post a weekly market update people keep coming back to. Instagram ranks total session watch time at the top of its signals. This feature makes that easier to get.
03
Instagram’s topic-selection tool is now live for all English users
The “Your Algorithm” feature in the Reels feed lets every English-speaking user now pick up to three topics to prioritize in their recommendations for 2026. Adam Mosseri confirmed the global rollout. Viewers who choose “real estate” or a specific lifestyle category will see more of your content. Those who don’t, won’t. The move: pick your niche, post consistently about it, and tell your followers exactly how to add you to their algorithm settings.
■ BY THE NUMBERS
403%
more inquiries on listings that include video, compared to those without
3.2x
more saves and shares on Instagram Reels vs. static carousel posts for real estate
52%
of agents say social media leads are higher quality than MLS leads. It’s not even close.
