Dear customer,
We're writing to let you know about an upcoming update to LiveKit's list of authorized data subprocessors.
As part of making LiveKit Inference zero data retention (ZDR) by default, we're expanding the set of model inference providers available through the platform. Each new provider has been configured for zero data retention, meaning your data is not retained by the provider or used to train or improve their models.
Effective June 26, 2026, we're adding the following inference subprocessors:
Anthropic (LLM)
OpenAI (LLM)
xAI (LLM)
Hume AI (text-to-speech / voice)
Cerebrium (GPU / model hosting)
Azure / Microsoft (GPU / model hosting)
Modal (GPU / model hosting)
These subprocessors only process data when you enable LiveKit Inference features. If you don't use LiveKit Inference, this change has no effect on your account.
