Welcome to Curaytor’s Agent Hour. Every week: something from us, an Instagram post we think you should see, and the social media updates that matter most for your business.
■ FROM US
CURAYTOR BLAST
Your email stats can point you toward your next conversation
An open rate gives you a helpful overview, but the contact-level activity is where you’ll find opportunities to follow up. If someone returns to the same email several times or clicks through to a listing, take a closer look. It doesn’t confirm they’re ready to make a move, but it gives you a better reason to reach out than another generic check-in.
Send them a similar property, answer a question related to the email, or offer an updated home value.
Blast, Curaytor’s email tool, keeps opens and clicks in one place, so you can quickly see who’s engaging and decide where a personal follow-up makes sense. Reply to this email and we’ll show you how it works.
■ COOL IG WE SAW
@opendoor: Is your home ready to sell? carousel
@opendoor on Instagram
Opendoor’s carousel opens with a question that sounds like it’s leading to a full seller checklist: “How to tell if your home is ready to sell.”
The next slide asks, “Do you have a home?” If the answer is yes, the final slide confirms that your home is ready to sell. The caption is just as simple: “You’re already ready.”
The post works because the first slide creates curiosity and the next three deliver a quick, unexpected payoff. It’s easy to turn every idea into an eight-slide carousel and a 300-word caption. More copy won’t make the post more interesting. Put that effort into writing a hook people want to follow, then give the idea only as much space as it needs.
■ WHAT’S NEW IN SOCIAL
01
YOUTUBE
YouTube expanded frequency controls for advertisers.
Google now allows advertisers to manage how often the same viewer sees ads across groups of YouTube video campaigns, rather than controlling frequency one campaign at a time. That gives agents and teams running several listing or brand-awareness campaigns more control over repetition. It may help prevent the same local audience from being served several overlapping ads too often.
02
META
Meta is adding clearer labels to AI-generated ads.
Meta will automatically add an AI disclosure when its advertising tools generate or significantly edit an image or video. The label may also appear when Meta detects that an ad was created with a third-party AI tool. This is especially relevant to listing advertising. An agent who uses AI to alter skies, add furnishings, animate a listing photo, or generate supporting visuals may see that disclosed on the ad. Any AI-assisted listing creative also needs to remain an accurate representation of the property.
03
META
Meta improved its AI image tools for advertisers.
Meta introduced a newer image-generation model for advertising, with improved photorealism, more creative variations, and better preservation of the original product or subject. The tools could help an agent resize or adapt campaign creative for different placements. Be cautious about framing this as a shortcut for creating listing imagery, though. Better photorealism makes accuracy and disclosure more important, not less.
