ciba-configuration
Descope now supports Client-Initiated Backchannel Authentication (CIBA), an OAuth extension designed for decoupled or headless experiences where the device initiating the request cannot easily present a browser-based login or consent screen. This is a recommended approach for “human-in-the-loop” scenarios within AI agent and MCP server flows.

👁️🗨️ Flow observability
Flow observability has been enhanced with new troubleshooting capabilities that allow Descopers to monitor all flow executions, including successful runs. We’re also piloting AI analytics to assist in interpreting flow events and understanding specific execution paths. Please reach out to us if you’d like access to this capability!
