Economy is like an animating drone that runs through all things — informing and performing all things.

Economy, as in an economy of means (not regarding money, like GDP or whatever — though that is a type). Economy meaning efficiency; the path of least expenditure.

It has no singular appearance either, having as many appearances as there are appearances. Speed and obviousness, but at times also glacial and osmotic; sometimes even without any constancy of appearance at all (the employment of many different means to achieve stability and durability and continuance).

...and perhaps, that’s economy’s thing: continuance.

Even perceived laziness is thoroughly economic; just economy overburdened by variable (and the world is almost only variable). This is economy set back on its heels by the unexpected; such muddled economies yield other economies, like addictions and coddled symptoms.

Yes, whatever the appearance economy is there.

We saw transcendental economy in the desert once, and were overtaken with horror. It scared us right out of our brain.

But we sought to stabilize, to reconstitute the economy of identity; what else to do?

Be careful of excessive, disastrous overdoing.

One must be active at the end of a cycle to prepare for the next order.

For people to get along there must be a harmonizing of overlapping spiritual beliefs as well as an agreed-upon set of rights and rules.

Question from “D.W.”: Rita why can’t you pick up your clothes?

Oracle reply: If one is in a conflict with a significant other (be it even a banal semi-stalemate like the above), the advice here is to impartially and constantly foreground the overlapping spiritual tendencies of both parties. Also, set fair rules and rights, in a sincere, aspiring spirit of mutual thriving (both love and selfishness should be present here).

Complete Reading:

This week we pulled Ace of Swords (reversed). The “success” or completion of overdoing; that is, true excessive, disastrous overdoing.

Our first hexagram this week is #64, Before Completion. “The condition before transition...” “The conditions are difficult. The task is great and full of responsibility. It is nothing less than that of leading the world out of confusion back to order. But it is a task that promises success, because there is a goal that can unite the forces now tending in different directions... one must move warily... in times before completion, deliberation and caution are the prerequisites of success.” This is the last hexagram of the I Ching; the one before the entire cycle repeats. It should be thought about in the manner of seasons. After this hexagram comes “The Creative” and then, “The Receptive.” Though order will return one must be active at the end of a cycle to prepare for the next order, to make sure that it reflects one’s goals and health.

There was one change of which the specific note is: “...the sun shines forth in redoubled beauty after the rain...”

Our second hexagram, the one that suggests how best to meet the challenges (or the changes) is #6, Conflict. “If a person is entangled in a conflict, their only salvation lies in being so clear-headed and inwardly strong that they are always ready to come to terms by meeting the opponent halfway. To carry on the conflict to the bitter end has evil effects even when one is in the right, because the enmity is then perpetuated.” When “...opposing tendencies appear, conflict is inevitable.” But... one can get ahead of conflicts, by impartially harmonizing (and foregrounding) overlapping spiritual tendencies and agreed-upon rules and rights.
