New York wants AI to slowwww down.
Amazon notified sellers on July 22 that product images, videos, and A+ Content containing photorealistic AI-generated people must carry designated metadata and appropriate shopper disclosures.
I think we're likely to see lots of offenders here.
What percent of lifestyle images on Amazon are AI-generated???
I'd be surprised if it's less than 40%.
The proliferation of these tools and how good they are getting is changing the way creative teams approach Amazon. But now you have to disclose that.
I remember when I sold toy guns on Amazon and New York had some laws about that. It led to some fines and ASIN takedowns. So yes... one state can wag the dog here.

Amazon Business Reports $60b in annual sales
The quiet sleeping giant that is Amazon Business.
For most categories, there are not many things you can do.
A "bulk buy" discount price.
An advertising modifier.
But if your product is the type of thing that businesses buy on the regular, it can start to approach 50% of your unit sales. There are many categories that do quite well in Amazon Business. So don't forget small improvements you can make to reach these good buyers.

Amazon is delivering faster and faster. It appears they're expecting that out of their SFP partners.
Tighter thresholds required to stay in the business.
If business doesn't feel like this, then I don't want it.
