Is your site doing poorly on some metrics? DebugBear can help you find ways to improve them.

Clicking on a metric name on DebugBear will surface relevant information you need to debug the metric.

For example, for the Largest Contentful Paint we show the LCP element – in this case a fairly large image (1.95 MB).

The browser also assigns a low priority to the main image.

We also show a filtered request waterfall. Here we can see that not only is the LCP image quite large, but it’s also competing for bandwidth with higher-priority fonts as well as other images.

The dark blue shaded areas indicate when bandwidth is used for each request. That can help you debug whether different requests are competing for bandwidth with each other.

Click on the chart to compare to the previous test result

Seeing a performance regression in your charts? Simply click on the chart to select the test result on that day and compare it to the previous test result.

You can now see a detailed comparison between the two test results.

In this example a new render-blocking script was added to the website, resulting in content taking longer to show up.
