This week we're looking at how to read your pipeline at a glance and spot problems before they hit your bank account, followed by a helpful partner article for anyone who wants to connect LACRM with QuickBooks.
🔍 What Your Pipeline Is Trying to Tell You
an image of a pipeline with few prospects and a bottleneck in the
A quick look at this example board already tells a story: not many new prospects, and a lot piling up in "qualified."
Most of us look at a pipeline to answer one question: what do I need to do next? But the overall shape of your pipeline can answer bigger ones too, if you know how to read it.
Where deals are clustered, where they're thin, and where they've stopped moving is a kind of diagnosis. One column noticeably fuller than the rest is usually a bottleneck, a sign that one step in your process is slow. A thin top of pipeline is an early warning that revenue could dip a few months out, while everything still feels fine today. And a few cards that haven't moved in weeks are quietly inflating your totals, making things look healthier than they are.
The nice thing is that reading these patterns doesn't take a formal report or a spare afternoon. It's a two-minute glance at your board with the right questions in mind. Do it regularly and your pipeline stops being just a to-do list and starts being an early-warning system for your business.

A rundown from our integration partner on their QuickBooks sync tool
If you run your books in QuickBooks Online, you may have wondered about connecting it to your CRM. Our integration partner LACRM QuickBooks Sync launched a tool built for exactly that earlier this year, and they put together a rundown of how it works — including how it compares to Zapier, a popular tool that lets you connect apps so they pass information to each other automatically, no coding required. (We integrate with Zapier as well.)
Their article walks through the details that matter when connecting these two systems: keeping contacts matched in both directions, seeing invoice and payment status inside LACRM, and what each option takes to set up and maintain. It also covers cases where Zapier is the better fit.
Since this is a third-party tool built by their team, not by us, questions are best pointed their way. But if getting your CRM and accounting talking to each other is on your list, their rundown is a good place to get oriented.
