According to recent survey from the NAR 2026 Member Profile, Facebook is the most widely used social platform among real estate agents, followed by Instagram and LinkedIn.
You might see that and get instantly overwhelmed by the amount of content you need to produce.
But the good news? You don’t need three times the content. You just need a different angle depending on where you’re posting.
Let’s say you just listed a home with a great backyard.
On Facebook, ask a question that gets people talking: Firepit, garden, or...an outdoor kitchen?
On Instagram, make people picture themselves there. Share a quick Reel that moves from the kitchen to the patio with a hook like, “The best part of this home is waiting out back.”
On LinkedIn, share what you’re seeing in the market. Are buyers paying more attention to outdoor living space? Is it helping certain homes stand out?
So, before you publish your next post, ask yourself this one question: Why would someone on this platform care?
Try this with your next post:
Facebook: Start a local debate (friendly back-and-forth encouraged)
Instagram: Make it look like a lifestyle people want to step into immediately
LinkedIn: Share the insight behind why it matters
