🧩 Custom chart types now live in your codebase
In case you missed it, we launched Chart Studio two weeks ago! With Chart Studio, you can build custom chart types that can make your dashboards look like this:
And now every custom chart type you build in Lightdash has code behind it. Download it with the Lightdash CLI, keep it in Git, review changes in a pull request, and upload it back as a new version.

⚡ "Make it a bar chart" now takes about a second
Small chart edits used to take ~20 seconds since they went through a full agent run. But with Fast mode, powered by Jev, those follow-ups go down a quicker path and you can get results in as little as 1 second.
The same six follow-ups took 59.8 seconds without Fast mode and 5.5 seconds with Fast mode.
