Designing email in Figma? Compare Brew, Email Love, Emailify and Stripo on how they read your frames, where you edit afterward, and where the HTML can go.

Brew publishes this comparison. We reviewed the linked product documentation on September 28, 2026; this is a documentation comparison, not a claim of hands-on testing of every platform. Check current plan limits on the vendor's pricing page.
Your designer finishes the product update frame in Figma, and the team approves it the same afternoon. The exported HTML looks right in a browser, but the two columns collapse in the Outlook test. The next week, a marketer who wants to change one headline has to wait for the designer to open Figma again.
When design happens in Figma, the email already exists before anyone opens an ESP. What remains is turning the frame into HTML that renders correctly in Outlook and dark mode, and deciding where the next person edits it.
The tools take two approaches. Some are Figma plugins, where you design inside their component system in Figma and then export. Others import the Figma frame and move the editing into another app. This guide compares four options against that choice.
We checked each vendor's own pages on September 28, 2026 against four criteria:
| Tool | Works from | Edit afterward in | Output and destinations | Pricing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brew | Any frame URL with a node-id |
Brew's canvas, by hand or by prompt | HTML or JSX; send from Brew, export templates to supported email platforms, copy or download HTML | Free plan; Growth $99/mo |
| Email Love | Your Figma layers or its 100+ components | Figma | MJML to HTML; API export to 24 platforms, file export for others | Free (5 exports/mo); Starter $19/user/mo |
| Emailify | Emailify components only | Figma | Responsive HTML; exports to 40+ ESPs | Pro $49/mo |
| Stripo | HTML or MJML files, not Figma directly | Stripo's drag-and-drop editor | Exports to ESPs or HTML | Free; Basic $20/mo |
Brew connects to Figma through OAuth. You paste a frame URL into the chat, and Brew converts that frame into an email. Use Copy link to selection in Figma so the URL includes the node-id Brew needs. The import starts from the frame you select. Review the permissions shown when authorizing the connection.
According to the Figma import docs, the conversion keeps typography, color values, layout structure and text. It is deterministic and uses no AI model, so importing the same frame twice gives the same result. The conversion is free.
Hyperlinks on Figma text are kept. Buttons without a mapped URL point to #. Brew returns a warningCount that includes those missing links, along with other parts of the frame it could not convert exactly. Fix them before the first test send.
After import, the frame is a normal Brew email. You can edit it by hand or with a prompt, save it as a template, use it as the reference design for future generations, and generate variants from it. You can send it from your verified domain or export it. Turning existing designs into on-brand emails covers the HTML and screenshot import paths too.
Brew fits teams where designers own the layout in Figma but marketers need to change the email without opening Figma.
Email Love analyzes your Figma layers and converts them into MJML, which becomes email-safe HTML. You can use its 100+ components or design with Figma's native tools. The Growth plan adds AI Studio, which generates templates from a brief using your Figma design system.
Its export list is the broadest here. It has direct API integrations with 24 platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo and Customer.io, and file export for Loops, Shopify and others. The free tier includes 5 exports a month. Starter is $19 per user per month, Growth is $59, and Professional is billed annually with a three-user minimum.
Email Love fits design teams who want Figma to stay the only place anyone edits the email.
Emailify is Hypermatic's Figma plugin. It ships 500+ components and 20+ templates, and exports responsive HTML to 40+ email platforms, including Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Salesforce, SendGrid and Braze. An AI Designer, in beta, builds emails from a brief using approved component libraries.
Emailify only exports emails built with Emailify components, so existing Figma designs have to be rebuilt with those components first. For a team starting a new email system, that can be an advantage because the components are already email-safe. For a team with a library of finished frames, it is extra work. Emailify Pro is $49 a month, or $499 a year.
Stripo does not import Figma frames directly. It imports HTML and MJML files, and Emailify can export into Stripo through its API. Once the design is in Stripo, you edit it in a drag-and-drop editor with an AI Assistant and a Brand Kit, then export to an ESP or as HTML. Plans are Free, Basic at $20 a month, Medium at $45 and Pro at $125, with monthly export limits that rise by plan.
Stripo fits teams where non-designers maintain templates in a visual editor and designers hand off only occasionally.
| Your setup | Start with |
|---|---|
| Finished Figma frames, marketers edit copy later | Brew |
| Figma stays the only place to edit, many ESPs | Email Love |
| Starting a new email design system in Figma | Emailify |
| Marketers maintain templates in a visual editor | Stripo, fed by HTML or Emailify |
Whichever tool you choose, the same design rules apply:
test_email_rendering tool and similar previews help. Check the final version in a real inbox as well. With Brew and Email Love, you can start from your own frames. With Emailify, the design has to use Emailify components. In every tool, results are best when the frame follows email constraints: a single column or simple columns, standard widths, and no effects email clients cannot render.
It will be close, but not identical in every inbox. Email clients render layouts differently, and dark mode may change colors. Treat the conversion as a starting point and review it in real clients.
Brew imports the frame you share at that moment. The docs do not describe a live sync. If the design changes in Figma, import the frame again or edit the email in Brew.
Yes. Brew lets you copy or download HTML, Email Love exports HTML or MJML, Emailify exports HTML, and Stripo exports HTML.
To try it with a real frame, connect Figma in Brew, paste one frame URL and check the imported links before your first test send.
