Nicholas Graham owns Perfect Picket Fence & Stain. His team used to paste HTML into Gmail. Now the right email sends itself.

We are quite surprised by the frequent praise we are receiving from our clients about how attractive the new emails are.
Perfect Picket builds and stains fences for homeowners in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and its emails are how a job stays on track: the consultation, the quote, the install date and the permit and utility-marking notices in between. Until this summer, every one of them was built in Brevo, then copied as HTML into Gmail and sent by hand.
For a team of fence builders, that was a lot of work for each email. In Nicholas’s words, it was clunky to modify and use, since we are not marketers. Any change meant editing code, and any email that should go out on its own still needed someone to remember to send it.
Brew built Perfect Picket’s brand from its website, and the team verified notify.perfectpicketfenceandstain.com so customer emails come from their own domain. Designing an email became a matter of describing it, then adjusting it on the canvas.
Then the emails started sending themselves. Every homeowner who books a consultation now gets a personal confirmation, triggered from Perfect Picket’s booking setup through the Brew API, and every quote request from the website gets an instant welcome. Install schedules and friendly follow-ups like “Still thinking about that fence?” go out from the same place.
Niles Tobey, Perfect Picket’s operations manager, runs the day to day, with Claude connected to Brew for the moments when it is quicker to ask than to click.
Perfect Picket’s automated emails open at 76%, with a 16% click rate, and no one has unsubscribed. For emails about something as personal as a project at your home, people read them.
The bigger change is what customers say. One homeowner wrote to Nicholas to say what a breath of fresh air the communication was, and that the new email design showed real care for customers. As Niles put it, Brew has been incredibly helpful already, and they are only scratching the surface of its usefulness.

One newsletter a month used to be all I could manage. Now I run a full lifecycle program.

Emails used to take me hours. Now they’re done in minutes.

Our first email on Brew got a 60% open rate. Our old platform averaged 30%.

The AI-native editor makes it genuinely fast to go from brief to a polished email. It’s cut our email production time significantly.

It’s like having another person on my team who can learn my brand & business even faster than an actual assistant.

I’ve sent over six billion emails, and I’ve never built them this fast. When a client rebranded, their new flow was done the same afternoon.
